All in Essential oils

Rosalina - Melaleuca ericifolia

Rosalina or "Swamp Paper Bark " is a must for your winter essential oil kit. It is my hero this Autumn with everyone dropping like flies. The best is that this amazing healer is one of our local oils. Grown, harvested and distilled in Harvey WA. It is a dynamic oil for clearing mucus and alleviating chesty coughs. Is a great oil for children.

How do our bodies metabolise essential oils?

Essential oils do not contain the whole plant but the smaller molecules, small enough to be easily absorbed into our tissues both internal and external. Making them highly effective through inhalation and external application. Knowledge of how our bodies process drugs helps us to partly understand how we would process these complex substances.

Essential oils are made up an extremely complex chemistry that will mimic or work in cohesion with our own internal complex chemistry and processes. They will inhibit and destroy strains of bacteria, virus, parasites and fungus. They are medicines working on many levels of our bodies systems at once with perfection. There are two main methods of extracting these, distillation and cold extraction of citrus fruits.
